YMMI and VFS Global Conclude the 2025 VFS Global Career Advancement Programme in Jakarta
Jakarta, 16 December 2025 – Yayasan Mitra Mandiri Indonesia (YMMI), in collaboration with VFS Global and supported by FUEL India, held the closing ceremony for the 2025 cycle of the VFS Global Career Advancement Programme after successful completion of three months of training at SMKN 25 Jakarta and SMK PGRI 1 Jakarta.
Building on the strong foundation and outcomes of the 2024 programme, this year’s edition continued to help prepare vocational school students to transition into the workforce with greater confidence and job-ready skills.
400 Students from both schools joined in weekly sessions focused on practical workplace skills, such as professional communication, customer service basics, and introductory administrative tasks. The programme is designed to help vocational school students gain confidence and realistic understanding of workplace as they prepare to enter the workforce.
Following the completion of the training, select high-performing students will get an opportunity to apply for an internship at VFS Global Jakarta. Through this pathway, students can experience real working environments and hands-on learning.
“We are glad to continue this programme after seeing how impactful it was last year. The students showed strong progress, not only in skill-building but also in their confidence and readiness to take on future opportunities,” said Gino Latief, Executive Director of YMMI.
